Terms of use

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These terms of use apply to everyone who uses stageworks, the website and app at stageworks.ai. By creating an account or using stageworks, you agree to them. Please read them together with our privacy policy.

1. Who provides stageworks

stageworks is provided by Luie Hond, Scaldisstraat 92, 9040 Gent, Belgium, enterprise number 0773847291, VAT BE 0773.847.291. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. The service

stageworks helps bands plan events, manage members and roles, and share files. stageworks is currently free and still in development. People who do not play in a band can create an account to save bands and find their public files again. That gives them no access to anything a band has not made public. A band can open a public request form, a public page with the files it marked as public, a public page with its upcoming events that it marked as published, and a share link per event for organisers and technicians. Anyone with the link can use the form to send that band a booking request, see and download those files, or see those events. We only pass the request on: any agreement about a gig is between the organiser and the band. We may add, change or remove features. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance, and you will never pay for something you did not explicitly choose.

4. Bands, members and roles

A band in stageworks can have several members with different roles. The owners of a band decide who can join and which role each member has. Everything added to a band, such as events, booking requests, customers, notes, fees and files, belongs to the band, not to the individual member who added it. Owners and admins see all of it. Members with the member role see the calendar, events without fees, deposits, customers, invoice and payment details or the timeline of notes, and who is in the band. Only owners change the band's settings and the roles of its members. Owners can take the admin role away. Owners can remove admins and members from the band, and admins can remove members, after confirming it by email. The person removed loses access straight away and gets an email, just like an admin who loses their role. When you leave a band, are removed from it or delete your account, that content stays with the band. Owners are responsible for who they invite and for making sure the band has an owner before they leave. If you add or import the contact details of an organiser, a customer or anyone else, for example in a booking request or the customer list, you must have a valid reason to do so, and you are responsible for that information. The band decides with whom it shares a link to ask who can play. Anyone with that link can answer for every member of the band. Every member can see and share the band's calendar link. Only share it with people who may see the band's events, and do not post it publicly. Owners and admins should make a new calendar link when someone leaves or is removed from the band; the old link then stops working.

Owners and admins can connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to stageworks. The assistant can then see the events and booking requests of every band where you are an owner or admin, including fees and contact details, and add and change events and booking requests and add notes in your name. What the assistant does counts as done by you, and you are responsible for it, also towards your bandmates. AI assistants make mistakes, so check what they add or change. The assistant is a service of another company that you choose, under its own terms: we are not responsible for what that company does with the data. Only connect an assistant to bands whose data you may share with it. You can disconnect an assistant at any time in Settings → AI assistants.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use stageworks to:

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you add to stageworks, such as files, photos, notes and event details. You give us a limited, non-exclusive and free licence to store, copy and show that content, but only as far as needed to provide stageworks to you and your bandmates. This licence ends when the content is deleted.

If you mark a file as public and the band's public files page is on, anyone with the link can download it. The same goes for files you share on the share link of an event, and for the details on that link. Only make files and details public that you are allowed to share with anyone who has the link. Only show the licence plates or food preferences of your bandmates on that link when the organiser needs them for the show. You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload. If you believe content on stageworks infringes your rights or is illegal, report it to [email protected]. We will look at it quickly and remove it if needed. stageworks is not a backup service: keep your own copies of important files.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep stageworks available and secure, but we cannot promise that it will always work without interruption or errors. We may temporarily take the service offline for maintenance or updates, and we try to announce planned maintenance in advance.

8. Liability

stageworks is provided free of charge and "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost income, a missed performance or lost data, and our total liability is limited to 100 euros. These limits do not apply in case of intent, gross negligence or fraud on our part, to death or personal injury, or where the law does not allow liability to be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

You are liable towards us for damage caused by breaking these terms, for example by uploading content that infringes someone else's rights.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using stageworks and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. Unless that is not possible or would cause harm, we will warn you first and give you the chance to download your content. We may disconnect an AI assistant or limit how much it can do, to protect stageworks or other users. If we ever decide to stop stageworks altogether, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will tell you about important changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then. If you keep using stageworks after that date, the new terms apply.

11. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you have a complaint, contact us first at [email protected]: we will try to find a solution together. As a consumer, you can also turn to the Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst / Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur). Disputes go to the competent court in Belgium. If you are a consumer, you always keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can also go to the courts there.

If part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest stays in force. If the language versions of these terms differ, the Dutch version prevails.
