Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant to stageworks, and ask it about your shows and booking requests in your own words. For example: "Which gigs do we have next month, and which deposits are still open?" or "Add the request I just got by email."
Who can use it
Owners and admins of a band. The assistant works with every band where you are an owner or admin. Members of a band cannot connect an assistant. You need a stageworks account, and an account with the AI assistant you want to use.
Connect
Claude
- In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Browse connectors and search for stageworks. Not in the list, for example in Claude Code? Choose Add custom connector and paste
https://stageworks.ai/mcp. - Choose Connect, log in to stageworks and agree on the consent screen.
- In a chat, turn on stageworks in the tools menu, and ask your question.
ChatGPT and other assistants
Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth can connect. Add a connector with the URL https://stageworks.ai/mcp and OAuth as authentication, then log in to stageworks when asked.
In ChatGPT this is under Settings → Apps & Connectors. Depending on your plan, you may first have to turn on developer mode.
What the assistant can do
- List your bands where you are an owner or admin.
- List and read events: upcoming or past, by date or by name, venue or city, with the place, run sheet, organiser, fee and deposit, line-up and notes.
- Add and change events: name, date and time, place, status, fee and deposit, run sheet, organiser and notes for the band.
- List and read booking requests: open or closed, with the organiser, proposed dates, fees and message.
- Add and change booking requests: details, proposed dates, fees and how long you hold the date.
- Put a booking request on hold: take an option on the date, until a date you choose.
- Add notes to the timeline of an event or a request.
Everything the assistant adds or changes is done in your name, and shows in stageworks as done by you. Assistants are asked to check with you before they change anything.
What it cannot do
- Delete anything.
- Accept or decline booking requests: you do that in stageworks.
- Change band settings, members, roles, files or customers.
- See bands where you are only a member.
Example questions
- "Which shows do we play in the next two months? Show the fee of each."
- "Which deposits have not been received yet?"
- "What is the run sheet for the Gentse Feesten?"
- "Which booking requests are still open, and which dates do they ask for?"
- "Add this email as a booking request: …"
- "Move the soundcheck of Saturday to 17:30 and add a note that the stage is covered."
Privacy and security
You log in to stageworks yourself and agree on our consent screen: the assistant never gets your password. It gets a token that is valid for 1 hour and is renewed while you stay connected. Your role is checked on every request, so if you leave a band or become a member, the assistant loses access to that band straight away.
What the assistant fetches from stageworks goes to the company behind the assistant, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, under its own terms. Read our privacy policy and terms of use for the details.
Disconnect
In stageworks, go to Settings → AI assistants and choose Disconnect. The assistant can no longer reach your account. You can also remove the connector in the assistant itself.
